The outspoken novelist and former actor Twinkle Khanna recently discussed her lack of culinary skills. Aarav and Nitara are the couple's two children, and Twinkle is married to actor Akshay Kumar. She frequently engages in conversation about her children and tells amusing anecdotes. Eventually, Twinkle discussed the lockdown and disclosed that, due to her lack of cooking skills, she had been feeding Nitara peanut butter sandwiches every day. She even disclosed that her husband Akshay, a chef before breaking into show business, refused to prepare meals for the family at home.
Nitara would require therapy as an adult because she was fed the same meal every day throughout the lockdown, Twinkle suggested while speaking with chef Sanjeev Kapoor on her chat programme. Any type of cuisine, according to the chef, can be made into a delicacy. Twinkle responded the same way and related her lockdown experience. She revealed, "During the pandemic, I was giving her peanut butter sandwiches every day because we couldn’t cook. I can’t cook. Husband said that he is not going to cook. Now, I feel that she will grow up and go into therapy and say that others’ parents were making pasta and banana bread and everything, but my mother was giving me only peanut butter toast."
On the personal life front, Twinkle and Akshay recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. The duo celebrated their special day in London.
