It has been just five days since the Netflix show 'Trail By Fire' dropped on the streaming platform, and the praise has been unanimous. The series which is based on the Uphaar cinema tragedy has been receiving love from all corners and the performances by Rajshri Deshpande and Abhay Deol have won everyone over. Bigwig Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar is the latest to lavish praise on the show, and he said that the series "broke his heart" and gave him a "gold standard narrative of resilience."
Writing on his Instagram Story, Karan Johar said: "Broke my heart and gave me a gold standard narrative of resilience… this series is a masterclass in narrative, execution and portrayals! Rajashree Deshpande and Abhay Deol are the rock-solid emotional pillars of this stunningly brilliant mini series."
